WHAT'S NEW

Fall Retreat

On October 20-21 we?re heading back to the beautiful Refuge outside of Ayden for this year?s Fall Retreat. We'll be joining other area youth groups for "Stone Hinge". Stone Hinge, very simply put, is derived from the idea that "everything hinges on the stone the builders rejected." We are not to be the center of our own world. Jesus gave his life that we might have life eternal through him. Our life should revolve around him as the center.

Experiencing God

As a ministry, St James Students strives to meet students where they are, transform them in the image of Christ, and send them as disciples. This means we are a community of varying degrees of belief and faith, from various backgrounds, with different ideas. What we all share in common is a want to see how God is active in our lives. As we share our God stories with one another, we'll see how God is active in others, and therefore, active in our own lives.

We minister to 6th to 12th graders. Families do not need to be members of St James United Methodist Church to participate in St James Students' programs and events.

Most of our programs are housed in the youth room, which is in the back (Southeast) corner of St James' Christian Life Ministry Center. We have our own walkway back there... so look for the banners on the east side of the building.
